Marching and Cycling Band HHK has ceased to exist…

With great sadness from the board and the members of the Marching and Cycling Band HHK, the MaC-Band HHK stopped to exist in 2014. Despite the enthousiasm and motivation of the members, the decreasing subsidies and decreasing member count resulted in financial challenges which could not be resolved.

This is a huge setback for the MaC-Band HHK, especially because we celebrated our 40-year anniversary of our cycling platoon in 2013 and our 50-year jubilee in 2014.

What next?

What about the members?

Because a large group wanted to continue making music, they joined the Showband of the IJmuider Harmonie. They continued their musical passions at this music union.
